Kate Leney is a fine artist and printmaker. Originally from Wales, she works on large scale woodcuts and linocuts with an oriental influence. She often uses Japanese and handmade papers and combines Eastern and Western printmaking techniques.
‘I love working with patterns in nature and produce serene landscapes. I handprint everything using a traditional Japanese baren, so I have more control over the printing process.’
